FINALLY!
This drawing was months in the making. I cant remember when I even started on it. So finally here he is, the one I consider my most favorite Disney character and my closest companion. Jake from "Rescuers Down Under".

In case you don't know, he is a kangaroo rat from the outback in Australia. He was my most fav character from that movie and my very first favorite toon. I had to have been 6 or 7 when I first saw him and grew to think he was the most coolest good guy ever. I used to write or just imagine hundereds of little pretend story sagas with him all throughout my childhood. I love him.
In my story world, he is kid of a strange combination of outback adventurer (like Steve Irwin the Croc Hunter ), a quiet stately goth, a ruff Australian cowboy, and a shamanist. I know.. I know.. very odd, but kind of cool in how different he is (I hope). He is the one in my story who saves my little meerkat self and I am forever in adoration of him for that kindness he gave.

Finally, the drawing: I'm happy with it for the most part. It was not entirely like my vision. it came out an evening scene when I wanted a foggy morning and the angle is different that my original idea. Also, the coloring was very difficult with my lack of experience on largescale background. that big patch of orange was supposed to be the light from the setting sun making everything glow. But it came out too dark. Overall thoughm the richness of the colors makes it still enjoyable for me. And for the first time, my scanner actually helped the colors rather than mess them up.
