Inspired by a similar drawing from
 .This idea came to me in some late afternoon just before sunset and the sky was a blue I could never hope to capture. I was feeling very sad that day. I am somewhat happy with how the drawing came out, but I was afraid that my pose would give off this extremely snobbish, cliche, 'modern' artistic feeling. In reality, the pose and dance thing was meant to be a 'dance of solitude' and express the feeling of melancholy in some way. Again this drawing deals with my studies in modern dance which I have now discontinued. More specifically, the idea that I could do something with my body that people would find beautiful. Oh well, at least in drawing I can live up to that dream. Btw, hope you like this Gryphmage. Thanks for the idea. |

How I wish I could been taught to dance gracefully.I'd would have LOVED to have been or be a ribbon dancer.
But in a way everything I do is done with care and thought...when I drive,it's my ballet;when I draw it's my ballet;when I mow the lawn...now that's ballet.I dance with the lawn mower,people think I'm nuts.
